“Dr. C. I. Parhon” Clinical Hospital Iași is one of Romania’s reference medical institutions, with continuous activity in patient care since 1943 and an important role in specialized medicine, including renal transplantation.
With 16 integrated departments and complex medical activity, the hospital has constantly invested in modernizing its infrastructure to support patient safety, the efficiency of medical care and the operation of clinical spaces according to current standards.
Within this project, Dacorum Grup contributed to the development of essential medical spaces through integrated design, construction, configuration and equipment solutions. The interventions targeted areas dedicated to critical patient care, surgical activity, complex procedures and imaging diagnostics.
The project included works for four important medical areas, each with its own requirements for safety, hygiene, functionality and technical integration.
In the ICU area, Dacorum Grup contributed to the development of spaces dedicated to the care of critical patients, where rapid access to the patient, well-organized work points and operational continuity are essential.
Key objectives:
Through this intervention, the ICU department was configured to support medical activity in a safe, ergonomic environment, prepared for the requirements of critical care.
The operating block was developed as a complex medical space, where every detail contributes to the safety of the surgical act: clear routes, suitable materials, integrated technical infrastructure and well-organized work areas.
Main components of the intervention:
The 4 operating rooms were configured to support surgical procedures in stable, hygienic and functional conditions, with a focus on safety and continuity of use.
The transplant department requires a high level of attention to safety, hygiene and environmental control. In this context, the project aimed to develop clinical spaces adapted to vulnerable patients and complex medical procedures.
Main directions:
In such a department, infrastructure has more than a functional role. It directly contributes to the stability of the medical environment, the organization of activity and the reduction of operational risks.
The imaging department was configured to support medical investigations in a safe, functional space adapted to specific technical requirements.
The project focused on aligning infrastructure, patient flow, medical staff activity and the daily operational needs of the department.
Integrated areas and requirements:
Through this intervention, Dacorum Grup contributed to the creation of a coherent, efficient diagnostic space adapted to clinical activity.
The intervention at “Dr. C. I. Parhon” Clinical Hospital Iași reflects Dacorum Grup’s capacity to coordinate complex medical projects, where construction, technical infrastructure, equipment and clinical flows must function as a unified system.
Safe, functional and durable medical spaces, designed for the real activity of medical staff and for patients’ needs.
