Philips Zenition - C-Arm Radiology Systems
PHILIPS
Flexible action can pave the way for many opportunities. It is an aspect that medical specialists want in every medical act to adapt as well as possible for each procedure, and the solution offered by mobile radiology systems with C-Arm has a proven experience in achieving efficiency.
That is why, through the Zenition range, Philips offers the combination of precision and flexibility for the medical act, from diagnosing patients to non-invasive, interventional and surgical procedures, but also for monitoring their treatments, focusing on the needs of both doctors and patients. But how? Zenition range’s four systems provide clarity in viewing patients’ anatomy from any perspective at a minimum required dose of radiation and in a shorter waiting time, while providing optimal mobility for each medical space and being efficiently integrated into any hospital IT infrastructure:
Zenition 10
-
Compact mobile radiology system with C-Arm and flat detector
-
The 20 x 20 cm flat detector provides, in real time, clear and accurate images at a high resolution and low radiation dose, according to the ALARA principle, for a wide range of surgical and minimally invasive procedures
-
It can be used in interventional procedures of the spine, abdomen, peripheral vascular system, pain management, but also in orthopaedic, traumatological, urological and general surgery procedures
-
Versatile design with 150o angulation and 73cm C-arm depth allows easy positioning of a wide variety of anatomies, including cardiac, bariatric or paediatric patients. Also, using the principles of the Unified workflow, medical specialists know intuitive and simplified control of the system thanks to integrated support elements, such as ClearGuide markings and coded colors on the body of the C-Arm, thus managing to position the patient for each procedure quickly, safely and accurately
-
Profile-based customization of image quality settings (Personalised IQ), including contrast, sharpness and noise, resulting in high-quality images at low radiation doses via Philips DoseWise technology. Also, the MetalSmart application reduces the exposure caused by metal artefacts in the field of vision, thus obtaining absolute clarity in the examination of patients with metal implants or during orthopaedic interventions
-
Guarantees improved cybersecurity and long-term hosting of new types of software by integrating the standard Windows platform
-
It offers the possibility of downloading, in order to be able to visualise alongside fluoroscopic images in real time, the images obtained by CT, MRI systems or other images obtained from DICOM systems in order to improve the decision-making process of specialists, also having at its disposal a device for marking anatomical details visualised for increased precision in the medical act
-
Long-term maintenance services of the system are provided to guarantee its optimal functionality
-
The system features increased connectivity and interoperability as it can be easily integrated into hospital infrastructures, including enabling high-speed wireless transfers and full connections to DICOM 3.0

Zenition 30
-
Versatile mobile radiology system with C-Arm, electromagnetic brakes and flat detector provides optimal control and improved workflow for the medical team
-
The touchscreen control console integrated on the side of the C-Arm system provides optimised control, with surgeons able to unlock electromagnetic brakes and position the system at the push of a button for a more accelerated workflow
-
The system includes a specialised mode for paediatric patients by configuring dosage and image quality settings and eliminating the X-ray grid for more efficient visualisation of smaller anatomical details
-
Available in two configurations, 2.1 kW and 4 kW, to adapt more efficiently to multiple needs that may arise in an operating room, the 4kW configuration can provide clear images for both a static anatomy and dynamic anatomy of patients
-
The electromagnetic brakes allow for more ergonomic handling of the system, and can be locked and unlocked from both sides of the C-arm
-
Profile-based customization of image quality settings (Personalised IQ), including contrast, sharpness and noise, and qualitative images at low radiation doses can be obtained according to the ALARA principle using Philips DoseWise technology
-
The total angulation of the 156o C-Arm and its depth of 73 cm allows Zenition 30 to be used with confidence for a wider range of patients, offering increased mobility in handling and operation thanks to its slim arms and lower weight
-
Adapted design to occupy as little space as possible in the operating room, it can be easily manoeuvred and transported in smaller operating rooms or narrow corridors due to its wheel-in-wheel-out capacity
Zenition 50
-
High-performance mobile radiology system with C-Arm and image enhancer to guarantee precision and efficiency in a wide range of medical interventions
-
Optimised and simplified control, with an accelerated work pace and at the same efficiency, through integrated elements of the Unified workflow, which guarantees fewer technical distractions and more efficient cooperation for the medical team through improved communication, but also a simplified installation of the system before an intervention, with fewer movements and fewer users required
-
It features a touchscreen control console, which features an intuitive and modern interface similar to those of phones or tablets, and which can be easily navigated by the medical team, for a faster learning process for beginners and for a shorter and simpler system installation process for the next procedure
-
High ability to manage radiation dose and image quality settings via the Philips SmartFilters application, which is the ideal solution during longer and more difficult procedures, providing a more accurate visualisation of more complex anatomical structures with a radiation dose adapted through the application’s algorithms in a shorter time
-
Zenition 50 features increased adaptability of radiation dose and image quality settings for effective treatment of bariatric, paediatric and elderly patients, while also using pulsed fluoroscopy and state-of-the-art technologies to visualise denser and more complex patient anatomies down to the level of lesser detail
-
The built-in standard Windows platform provides long-term cybersecurity through regular software updates, guaranteed by the Philips Technology Maximizer set, as well as wireless and simplified software management of Zenition systems via Philips Support Connect
-
The system has increased integration capacity, wired or wireless, as it can be easily and efficiently connected to other Zenition systems, other equipment in the operating room or to the DICOM hospital IT infrastructure

Zenition 70
-
Premium mobile radiology system with C-arm featuring advanced imaging techniques to provide clarity and precision even in the most complex surgeries
-
It can be configured with a flat detector of 30 x 30 cm, which offers an increased field of view to the medical team on the anatomy of patients, thus guaranteeing an improved perspective in detecting anomalies and using, according to the ALARA principle, a lower radiation dose, but keeps a high image quality for optimal efficiency in any intervention
-
High-frequency 80 kHZ tube that provides reliability and accuracy in more complex procedures such as vascular interventions
-
Optimised and simplified control, with an accelerated work pace and at the same efficiency, through integrated elements of the Unified workflow, which guarantees fewer technical distractions and more efficient cooperation for the medical team through improved communication, but also a simplified installation of the system before an intervention, with fewer movements and fewer users required
