Using the resolution, speed and high accuracy of LASCA (Laser Speckle Contrast Analysis) technology, PeriCam PSI is the blood infusion imager that innovates methods for studying blood microcirculation in tissue through real-time graphs and video recordings thanks to the integrated high-performance PIMSoft software, which provides the specialist with versatility and optimal control of data visualization.

PeriCam PSI is available with an optional zoom functionality in the form of two versions:

1. Pericam PSI NR (Normal Resolution)

It is a tool that can be applied in a wide variety of procedures, including determining the depth of burns and the microvascular function of the skin during clinical diagnosis, being able to measure in areas of 20 x 24 cm, from a distance between 13 and 41.5 cm, and the tissue infusion is visualized at a resolution of 33 μm / pixel . At the same time, it is easy to mount and adjust, as it can be installed on a trolley with a flexible boom, which allows smooth movement and positioning.

2. Pericam PSI HR (high resolution)

Applicable in procedures across specialties ranging from cerebral blood flow imaging (CBF) in mice and rats to angiogenesis models such as the hindlimb ischemia model (HLI). PeriCam PSI HR uses an optical capacity with a resolution of 10 μm/pixel to measure surfaces of 21 x 25 mm, and with the optional zoom function it can view areas of 20 x 24 cm with a fixed positioning from 13 cm on a microscope stand.

PeriCam PSI models are easy to start and use, using 785 nm NRI (near infrared) laser technology to measure blood patterns, with a high-resolution 2448 x 2048 pixel camera that can analyze up to 120 images per second, and the 685 nm visible laser is designed to facilitate their positioning on the patient’s analysis area.
